No fewer than 18 students of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta have benefited from the 2018 scholarship programme of Africa’s largest firm, Dangote.
The beneficiary’s list which was published in Vanguard’s Wednesday publication has students across all institutions in the country.
The students who are said to be residents of the largest Dangote plant community in Ibese, Ogun state numbered 145.
The scholarship programme as gathered was part of the annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme of the company.
MAPOLY students who were beneficiaries of Dangote’s benevolence were indigenes of Ijako-orile, Imasayi, Abule Oke, Ibese, Ajibawo, Babalawo and Aga Olowo
Secondary school students also benefited from the scholarship programme.
