The winner of Association of Mass communication of Students (AMACOS) Public speaking competition, Mr. Samson Omoniyi has reiterated that most Nigerians are disabled.
He spoke with The Press Club MAPOLY after he was announced the winner of the competition.
Omoniyi explained that Nigerians are disabled when they know the right thing to do but they didn’t do it.
"Almost Nigerians are disable because what they are expected from them, they are not doing it, we are to think right as students but we are not thinking so we are disable psychological."
"Many people are more disable than people we think that are disable".
He however dedicated the award to all physical disable people in Nigeria and the Head of Department of Mass Communication Mr. Kolawole Amos for giving him the form of the competition for free.
"I dedicate this award to all we think they are disabled and I call them disabilities"
"I want to thank the HOD because he gave me the form for free."
He said further that the competition is an opportunity for him to sell what he has as student.
"This competition is an opportunity for me to sell what I have in mind to sell since all this while. We are more than being a student; we have something in mind that we can sell out."
