Following the commencement of the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic Student Union Election, Press Club Mapoly has observed that several students have been disenfranchised,as their names are missing from the accreditation list.
The raging voters expressed their grievances to PCM saying that they have provided all necessary requirements and yet are being denied the access to cast their votes.
PCM learnt that the accreditation list used to screen in voters was not updated and has in turn disqualified several eligible voters.
Some affected students who spoke to PCM said they had informed the officials, providing their documents after explaining several reasons to which their names were not found on the list, but the officials refused to accredite them.
