MAPSU Elections: Electoral requirements, Outdated list disenfranchise students from voting

In a recent developments, Press Club Mapoly has observed that several students across various departments have been disenfranchised after failing to provide the required documents for the voting process.

PCM further learnt that those who provided the necessary requirements have also been disenfranchised as their names did not appear on the accreditation list.

Some affected you expressed their concerns to PCM allegedly calming that the list used to accredit students in outdate.

They further claimed that the outdated list includes those who failed to pay their school fee in time or had issues with their results, hence the disenfranchisment.

However, at the time of filling this report, the Student Union Electoral Committee are yet to provide any alternative measures to screening the affected students.
