The management of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, has postponed the exams slated for March 30th to April 8th over the Lisabi festival.

The Lisabi festival is an annual celebration of the Egba hero holding across, Abeokuta, the state capital. There will be a procession to Lisabi forest behind MAPOLY on Saturday by Egba indigenes.

PCM learnt that the notice of the postponement was pasted across all departments for students’ awareness.

The school gave a new date and time in which the affected papers were rescheduled.

The notice reads, " all exams slated for Saturday 30th March, 2019 have been moved to Monday, 8th April, 2019 due to Lisabi Day festival celebration ."

Recall that students of the polytechnic started the second semester exams on March 25th after resuming from a three months ‘strike’ that halted academic activities.

This development has been greeted with concerns by some students who prayed that the exams ended soon.

Some have however blamed the authorities for poor preparations since news of the festival had been on for a while.
