MAPOLY radio gets 99.7fm licence

The much awaited MAPOLY radio has been given a licence to operated with the 99.7 frequency modulation.

The rector of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Dr. Samson Odedina made this diaclosure in a statement obtained by Press Club MAPOLY.

Recall that the rector had during the matriculation ceremony given for weeks ultimatum to secure the licence.

Dr. Odedina who received the committee on MAPOLY radio led by the chairman Dr Sina Aina, promised to implement the recommendations of the committee

In his words, "I received in my office today the Committee on MAPOLY Radio Station led by its Chairman, Dr. Sina Aina, who came to submit the report on the modalities of operations to kick start airing of MAPOLY Radio station.

"I’m pleased that the Radio Station which has been licenced by the Nigeria Broadcasting Commission (NBC), will rock the wave on 99.7 Frequency Modulation.

"However, I have assured the committee of implementation of its recommendations in the report as the MAPOLY Radio Station hits the air in September."
