The management of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic has confirmed September 9th as the commencement date for the 2018/2019 first semester examination.
Recall that PCM had earlier reported a possibility of the examination starting September 9th.
This confirmation came at the end of an academic board meeting held on Thursday, 29th August
In a press release signed by the school PRO, Yemi Ajibola, the management said that the postponement of the exams was ”due to logistics reasons".
It warned that there would be no further changes in the date of the examination.
The release also stated that any student who fails to complete his/her registration on or before September 9th would not be allowed to write exam.
The release reads, "The academic board, at its emergency meeting held on Thursday, 29th August, 2019 has postponed the first semester examination for the 2018/2019 academic session to Monday 9th September, 2019 for logistics reasons.
It should be recalled that the first semester examination was initially scheduled to start on Monday, 2nd September 2019, in accordance with the revised academic calendar.
By this development, students are advised to complete their registration before the new date of Monday, 9th September 2019 as there would be no further shift in date of the examination.
Any students who fails to complete his her/her registration on or before September 9, 2019 would not be allowed to partake in the examination".
