Press Club Mapoly (PCM), is set to embark on a media tour for the 2018/2019 academic session. The tour will be holding on Thursday 21st November, 2019.
The media tour as contained in the press release signed by the club public relations executive, John Ayeni, was part of efforts to help students have practical knowledge of what they have been taught in class.
According to the release, media houses to be visited are, Punch, Channels Television, Noah’s Ark and Rainbow FM.
The release reads "As part of efforts to familiarise students with the practical ‘know how’ of Journalism, Broadcasting and Advertising, Press Club Mapoly will be embarking on a day media tour on 21st November, 2019.
"The media houses to be visited are *PUNCH, Channels Television, Noah’s Ark (An Advertising agency) and Rainbow FM.*
"The aims of the tour are to get students relate theory with practice, to make them see things that are obtainable in media houses and to trigger them to improve on their soft and hard skills as potential media practitioners.
"Registration fees is *#2000* and Deadline for Payment is 18th November, 2019."
