Students protest death of OSCOHTECH undergraduate

Blessing Ighenegbai, a 200 level student of dental therapy, Ogun State College of Health Technology, OSCOHTECH, Ilese-Ijebu was killed on Tuesday by a truck allegedly belonging to Nigerian Breweries.

Ighenegbai who was reported to had gone to withdraw some money from an Automated teller Machine at a bank in Ijebu-Ode fell off a motorcycle before the truck crushed her to death.

Students leaders including the Special Assistant to the state governor on students matters, Clement Olusegun; National President, National Association of Ogun State Students, (NAOSS), Ayotunde Akanbi; Olawale Balogun and other executives of students bodies including National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) were said to have stormed Ijebu to calm the nerves of students who the protesting and aggrieved students of OSCOHTECH.
