Barely six hours after Press Club MAPOLY (PCM) published a report describing as fake a broadcast message being shared as academic calendar, the school management has released a proposed academic calendar, after a long wait.
The proposed academic calendar has same date for examination and student union week as the earlier debunked calendar. The proposed calendar however, differed by being detailed.
While the proposed calendar carries November 4th as a belated deadline for second semester registrations, PCM observed that students are still having difficulties processing their course registrations on the school portal.
The calendar added that lectures are to end December 28th as exams are scheduled to commence on Monday 13th, January 2020.
Meanwhile, the academic calendar used all through the previous semester was also labelled proposed academic calendar. This speculates that there might be no changes to the released 2018/19 second semester proposed calendar.
Going by the proposed calendar, the session is to end Saturday, 25th January, 2020 while the 2019/20 academic session is to commence immediately on Monday, 27th January, 2020.
