MAN O’ WAR warns MAPOLY students against cultism, others

The Mobilization Against, Nurtured Operation War Against the Rebels (MAN O’ WAR) MAPOLY chapter has warned students of the institution to shun cultism and other social vices ‘that may distract them from learning.’

While welcoming students on campus for the first semester of the 2016/17 Academic Session, Commander-in-Chief of the Command, Patriot Adenike Adelusi advised students to report any criminal case to security officers within and outside the campus.

This was contained in a press release issued by the organisation on December 12, 2016 and signed by the Deputy Commander-in-Chief, Patriot Kayode Abiodun.

Adelusi said, “on behalf of the entire MAN O’ WAR NIGERIA MAPOLY Command, I welcome all students of this great institution back on campus, in the same vein, I also urge the newly admitted student to shun cultism and never forget their primary assignment here on campus.”

MAN O’ WAR Nigeria, a para-military organisation approved by Federal Government and preaches integrity, diligence and patriotism also declared that it is set to open parade for the new session on Wednesday, December 14th.

The Opening of Parade according to the release is “with the zeal to set the officers on another track of discipline in fitness, effort and orientation exercise.”

The release reads in part, “the agenda as disclosed by the commander-in-chief would go a long way to help all the officers both the returning and floor officers in their various fields.

“Which include recruitment exercise for all intending officers, camping and orientation exercise to further change their mode of thinking and reaction to situations.

“Obstacle training in order to keep them on high track in fitness despite what comes their way, Parade training exercise in preparation for the annual colourful passing out parade and handing over ceremony, gyration night and so on.”
