MAPOLY loses lawyer,lecturer

The management and students of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic were yesterday thrown into mourning following the death of the Polytechnic lawyer, Barr. Olanrewaju Ojo and a young lecturer,Mr. Ayoola Adejonwo.

Press Club MAPOLY(PCM) gathered that the duo passed away after a brief illness.

PCM also learnt that the lecturer, Mr Ayoola Adejonwo popularly known as A.Y had been battling with a heart ailment before his death.

 

Adejonwo until his death was a lecturer in the School of Business and Management Studies (SBMS). He was described as a promising and versatile lecturer.

The sad news of the deceased came as a shock to many.

Tributes have continued to pour in from ever corner on the virtues exemplified by both the lawyer and the lecturer whom many described as an epitome of friendliness.

Also,some students of the deceased also took to their social media account to register their condolences.

Some of the tributes read, “Just like that Mr Ayoola
What a wicked world! How can I forget this kind of day,can’t stop the tears rolling down my eyes.

“Good night bar. Ojo, Good night A.Y. May Almighty God wipe away all your sins and grant you eternal rest.

“I never had issues with your courses since I knew you as a lecturer. This is a great loss to us.”

“This is a big loss to us MAPOLY students and the management. I could remember this down hearted man, He stood by me when I gave up on my result. He was a competent mentor who’s ready to support and and stand by”.

The public however await the management’s statement and burial arrangements.
