A student of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Babalola Abiodun has been appointed the Director of Advocacy by the National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS).
A copy of the appointment letter signed by the National President of NAPS, Olasunkanmi Ijaduoye, was made available to Press Club Mapoly(PCM).

The letter reads: ” I am pleased to inform you that you have been appointed the Director of Advocacy to the NAPS National President.
“We have appointed you based on your performance and of credible character, your unrelenting contribution to student struggle is also one of its criteria considered for your appointment, am sure we can expect same performance in your tenure with us.”
Speaking with Press Club Mapoly(PCM), Babalola, an HND1 Mass Communication Student described the appointment as a great opportunity for him to serve.
Babalola promised to be the voice of the students throughout his tenure.
“I feel good been appointed. It is a great privilege to serve the entire student of NAPS also my school MAPOLY
” Being appointed for this position doesn’t make me the best, there are many, in fact, bountiful students far better than I am, for good and great for this position but being here is an opportunity for me, I shall ensure and make sure I use this great opportunity well to not just lead but also serve the entire students well most especially not forgetting my Alma Mata, MAPOLY.”
Speaking on how he intends to use the appointment for the benefit of Ogun State students and Mapoly, he said “I will use this appointment for the betterment of the entire student NAPS national, NAPS Ogun state, and my school Moshood Abiola Polytechnic
” Appointment is not a joke and post to play with, I’m appointed to lead, be the voice of the students in all endeavor throughout my tenure”.
He also appreciated the leadership of NAPS for giving him the mandate to serve at the National level.
“With boundless gratitude for the confidence placed in me by the National President, National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) and with an unswerving resolve to honor that trust, I humbly accept the appointment as the Director Of Advocacy National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) ably led by His Excellency Comr Olasunkanmi Ijaduoye Akogun.
” I wish to extend my deepest respect and appreciation to all the leaders and students of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATIONS OF POLYTECHNIC STUDENTS (NAPS) for their strong support,” he said
