Ifedayo Ogunyemi
“With the way things are in the country, entrepreneurship and skill acquisition are the way out,” these were part of the word of Head, Department of Marketing, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, Dr. Kemi Oyefesobi.
Oyefesobi stated this while receiving members of the State Executive Directorate, Africa’s Young Entrepreneurs (AYE) at his office on Wednesday.
He charged the State Director, Joseph Adefisioye not to deviate from the objectives of the organisation.
“I am aware of what you are doing. Keep it up and you now have a lot of responsibilities before. Just like your president said that you have a lot to do in Ogun State.
“I know it is not going to be an easy task but with God on our side, all is well. Try to toe the line of action stated by AYE, don’t start to deviate from the concept or objectives of the organisation.
“I was on air sometimes with him to discuss entrepreneurship.
“As a human, I feel elated. And I have swung into action to show him to the PRO and very soon, we’ll show him to the rector. I am really happy but not surprised because I have been following him for a long time now.
“I was at his entrepreneurship programme in 2014. Unfortunately, I was not in town when he did it again in 2016. And I know he will achieve success.
“He has started. He must have trained more than hundred students. It is just to keep it up. With the way things are in the country, entrepreneurship and skill acquisition are the way out
“You are a polytechnic or university graduate, what do they teach you in school? Theory. But what you do with your knowledge, skills and hand will go a long way to make you a better citizen,” Oyefesobi said.
