As part of efforts to give its members professional experience and exposure, Press Club MAPOLY has entered into a partnership with Sweet FM 107.1 to train its members in the broadcast media.
Press Club MAPOLY met with the management of Sweet FM on Monday to facilitate the partnership.
During the meeting, PCM President, Hassan Abdulsalam emphasized how the partnership will go a long way to hone the broadcasting talents of students on campus.
He appealled to the management to grant PCM’s members opportunities to participate on live programmes.
Welcoming PCM, the head of management, Mrs. Norah Laura disclosed that she loves the proposal, adding that she is in support of training the members of the club.
She said, “You don’t buy experience you acquire it.”
Reacting, Hassan appreciated the management of Sweet FM and vowed that the members of PCM will maximize the opportunity to get better in the broadcast world.
“We appreciate this gesture from Sweet FM. This will go a long way in producing talents in the broadcast world. We will surely maximize this opportunity and leverage on it,” he said.
