Have you fallen into the speculation that every action has a tendency to bring a negative reactionary action? That there are no reasons that can be jettisoned by some counter-reasons is a delusional thought.
Personally, I have succumbed to the school of thought that says *"every action affects; either to suppress or to impress."*
Let’s get the ice broken. Do you know if your actions are even positive, they would affect some people who are in negation to your actions. Inversely, if your actions are negative, they’d still affect people who have positive views to your actions. It’s a logic in reality.
While God has blessed by creating some people with some inundated strategies of development to improve the socio-polical and economic activities of a country, we still have some mindsets that roll up contrary developments to such actions. Some people might even go some miles to eliminate or decimate people with contrary developments. Honestly, I’m crestfallen discovering this!
This has made me to conclude that the peoples in the world, especially Nigerians, have in each of them actions that pessimistically or optimistically collide one another. You could imagine the government action on Twitter ban negates some individualistic policies. My President’s tweet negated the Twitter’s policy. Twitter’s policy negated our President’s tweet. Even the immediate Former President of the U.S.A, Donald Trump, his action once ran wayward to America’s political customs; he was impeached! My God! Beams!
Moreso, let’s take a deep look at those various things happening in Nigeria, my "school" – It’s a great citadel of learning; where we learn, unlearn and relearn. Beams!
Additionally, Nnamdi Kalu, the Ojukwu Chukwuemeka of our time, places his action opposite to the Presidency’s. What results would such surely bring? Of course you know, it’d result into a breaching reaction.
Historically, to give a short view into history, political one to be precise, those days of Dele Giwa; Moshod Abiola; Murtala Mohammed; even the notorious Oyenusi; Musa Yar’ Adua of blessed memory, all had their actions thwarted by some political rivals. The U.S.S.R and U.S.A, till now, have contrasting actions to political and economic beliefs against each other.
Still in history, there was a time in Ogun state where a Governor’s action ran contrary to a tertiary institution’s policy. He, the then Governor wailed metamorphosis while the institution said "no". The school still has the scar bleeding in its system.
To give a light butress, the lane through which the Falani herdsmen run their pastoral affairs vehemently has a contrast to some people’s lives in the country. The Yorubas and Igbos don’t longer have their arms folded looking susceptible to this mediocrity of these "bororos" threatening the peaceful co-existence of their agricultural unison. Can you see now that actions negate actions?
You’d be wondering where I’m going. I wish going a straight lane, too, but the waves driving me came in their droves. I had to lie obedient to their navigating mode.
Having opined all these, my major stance writing this piece is to tell us that our actions, whether intrinsic or extrinsic either suppress or oppress.
We have to be mindful of the actions we project, and to those whom the actions are projected to. Talk about development, some people would waylay you of your developing view, just because they have opposing counsel to your view.
Don’t think you actions please everyone around you. Your manners of dressing, speaking, cooking, reading, playing and, even sleeping might not please everyone in your scope of relation.
