The National Union of Lagos State Students (NULASS), MAPOLY chapter has inducted a new executive board to drive the affairs of the union for the 2020/2021 academic session.
Oseni Toheeb, Mass Communication, HND 2 emerged the President while Taiwo Roqeebat will serve as the Secretary of the union for the current academic session.
Suliat Abioye will serve as the Public Relations Officer while Okoya Aminat emerged as the Vice President with Idowu Prosper Oladele as the Financial Secretary of the association.
Reacting after the Inauguration, the newly inaugurated President, Toheeb told PRESS CLUB MAPOLY that his administration will bring the union closer to its members.
His words, “I feel this is a body that is ready to stay on this great land (citadel of learning, MAPOLY ). I and my other executives we work hand-in-hand in attaining success. We will make sure we bring all the members closer to the executives and make it an all-inclusive government.
“The members of NULASS should be expecting a strong vision from me in attaining our laid down plans Insha Allah. Effective communication skills, the courage to make unpopular decisions, ability to manage crisis in the association, character and integrity and ability to work with all the members of NULASS MAPOLY.”
On his part, the National NULASS Public Relations Officer 1 elect, Hassan Abdulsalam urged the new executive to be determined and attend national programmes, vowing that he will surely fight for MAPOLY at the national level.
“This is a new era, I will urge you all to work as a team and make sure you attend national programmes as we have designed opportunities for our local chapters but it’s those that are at the programmes that will benefit more,” he said.
