Ahead of the Students Union Election on Wednesday, the management of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY) has declared Wednesday, July 14th as a lecture-free day for all students of the institution.
In a statement signed by the spokesperson of the school, Yemi Ajibola, students and individuals are advised to stay off campus, since they won’t be voting.
It also noted that security operatives have been instructed to prevent violations with defaulters to be sanctioned.
The statement reads, "Students and individuals, who have no business with the election, are advised in thier own interest to stay clear of the campus.
"It should be noted that security operatives have been detailed to prevent interferences as defaulters shall be dealt with."
