A chief lecturer in the department of Mass Communication, Dr. Sina Aina has revealed how destiny made him a lecturer.
Dr. Aina explained how he never planned to become a lecturer, saying his wish instead was to work in a factory company in the popular Aswani market.
He said, “I did not plan to become a lecturer, destiny brought me into it.
“Lecturing and teaching called me when I was wishing to work in Aswani, a factory work in Lagos.”
Asked about his lecturing experience, he noted that it has been an exciting, encouraging and productive journey.
According to him, lecturing has multiplied him, with him seeing his products who are now journalists like him.
Dr. Aina noted that it was his father who instructed him to teach after his secondary school to ensure he was intellectually alive.
“I have profited a lot from teaching, so since then I have been teaching.”
“I came on board in 1994 as a part time lecturer, and later became a full time lecturer in 1996.
“The long journey has been a promising, exciting and productive one,” he said.
