Students, at each stage of informal and formal learning, who know it really takes a yoke-breaking value to attain and sustain success would always have in mind that death happens not only on eternal rest but also on other crucial aspects of our lives. As a matter of fact, man dies if his destiny visions, ideas, missions, commitment , and pursuits, to mention a few, evaporate.
A scholar, whom I so much admire, Myles Munroe of blessed memory, said "The wealthiest place on earth is not the central banks all over the world; not the places where golds and diamonds are stored and sold. The wealthiest place on earth is the graveyards." It was marveled initially, because that sounded incredible yet unfaked. Because I, too now, discover that there are many who have died without being empty, leaving their lives to be buried with great potential not executed and fulfilled on earth.
The graveyards are full of books unwritten; songs unsung; scripts unacted; talents undisplayed; places where illuminating and progressional ideas vapored with the death of the dead subjects. My God! These are wealth-creating values! These treasures, if died with men, mean men have died without being empty!
Have we, students, noticed that we were not birthed just to come feature on earth and die without impact? Have we equally known that "the future you don’t picture, you will never feature?"
Without doubt, throw yourself into a retrospect, and weigh the propensity of those resources wasted imprudently by those who didn’t die emptying the deluge of resources they were divinely bestowed, you would be psychologically befuddled if truly you know what it’s means when the man dies without being emptied.
We are all created uniquely as students, thus, we need utilise such unique potential to an extraordinary reckoning. A soul of impact is a soul of invaluable and deferent idiosyncrasies. Know that, and tread on that path. It’s illuminating!
What I discover as always the scary factor to the progress of man is the fear of defeating the umpteen challenges which are perfectly proportional to our growth. Frankly, we cannot but embrace challenges as feet to help us stride efficaciously in the path to progressional feats of life. That "challenges spare no one, just as opportunities exempt no one" is an eye-opener for one to know that both symbiotic allies work hand in gloves. They are in serious partnership with you just as "Akorede & Co. Communications"* Mind you, the "Co" doesn’t just mean cooperation but also connotively mean "Challenges and Opportunities (CO)" . Cooperate with them! No opportunity actualizes without first tackling the threats posed by life challenges.
The man in us must not die with us as students; we need create spaces for them to productively display themselves in the exhibition and rendition of challenges and opportunities. Don’t forget the value of life is not determined by its duration but by its donation. A religious book could only say something about Methuselah’s age, nothing more! He lived lengthly but nothing showcased his donation while he was alive. Selah!
Our coming to school should unscrew and unbolt knotted opportunities. Don’t forget that the man dies if talents, treasures, potential and solution-invoking ideas die with him.
A life of no impact is a life of no value. You need to battle the battle. Life won’t give you what you deserve, it gives you what you demand!
