Ajani Sodiq Damilola from Electrical Engineering has emerged as the 36th Student Union Government president of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic.
The election started at exactly 10:38pm and ended by 3.pm
The election result was declared by the chairman of the Student Union Electoral Committee, Comrade Shobowale Oluwatobi.
He said,"in line with the school constitution, Article 11,Subsection 16 which states that an aspirant who as no opposition shall be duly elected if he or she has two-third of the vote casted for the office."
He however, gave the total number of accredited voters to be 88
For the president, Optimum had 82 votes and 5 voids. For the Vice President, CDQ , had 79 votes with 8 voids. For General Secretary, Skutech, had 80 votes with 5 voids. PRO post, Princess had 81 votes casted with 6 voids.
Other results includes: Treasurer, Omolara had 83 votes with 3 voids. Assist.General secretary, Captain had 80 votes with 4 voids. Financial Secretary, Dammy had 78 votes with 9 voids. For Welfare Director, Enidam had 82 votes with 6 votes. For Social Director, Confidence had 81 votes with 5 voids while Sport Director , Rhic had 82 votes with 2 void.
