The Moshood Abiola Polytechnic Leo club has promised to complete the mass communication department bus shed.
The club, on Saturday, December 3, 2022, made this known during the induction of Ayobami Peter Adeniji, as the 31st public presentation president & Board of Directors, and other members.
According to the club, it has executed many projects, as it revealed some projects that would be executed by the new administration.
According to Peter, while speaking at the event, he said his administration has a lot to do as he listed them out.
He said, "The beauty of our gathering here has not only lies in the out look of it but in the heart of contribute to the development of our community and as well as to promote service activities among the youth of the communities, which it will develop our individual qualities of leadership, experience and opportunity.
"However, a sense of motivation will highly be appreciated from every philanthropist here present and all our well wishers by donating immensely and kindly towards the success of this our tenure.
"The project before us to be implemented are follows; Completion of the laid down foundation at bus shed at mass communication bus stop, Visitation and donations to lepers at lepers colony, Elega Abeokuta, Celebration and extension of love / items to the babies at motherless baby home/ orphanage, on Valentine / Children day, A day career talk to orientate the new admitted student in the school premises Moshood Abiola Polytechnic."
He also mentioned, "Donations of stationeries to the needy public primary schools ( Our Alpha Leos), Erection &Renewal of sign board on campus/ quality membership drive and relation programs, Resuscitation of Alpha Leo Club ( Afro Grams/AGGS), A- Day seminar for the outgoing student with the theme "Transfer of Wealth"," as part of the projects to be executed.
Speaking at the event, the 404BI NIGERIA District, President Goodwill reminded the new members to commit their "time, talent, and and treasure to serve humanity to the club", as he described their action to join the club as a privilege.
He said, "I am highly honoured to serve as your District president for the 2022-2023 Lions service. It is imperative to let you know that to steer this ship, we need to work as a team, and the same synergy I request of you should be extended to your club’s planning, implementation, and growth. It is expedient to note that with consistent communication, you can douse a lot of rumors and unpleasant discussions that might birth chaos, distrust, hatred, disloyalty, and a whole lot of unpleasant situations.
"It is important to remind to you that membership in the Leo Club is a privileges, hence, you need to take it to heart, your induction today shows you have taken a greater steps to commit your time, talent, and treasure to serve humanity.
"This is a rare attribute and ability that any human human being could posses,as such,as rare gem."
