
The newly elected executives of the Nigeria Association of Computing Student, NACOS, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, MAPOLY chapter has taken Oath of office, as they promised to run a transparent administration.
The newly elected president, Gbenga Abolurin, On Monday, during the Inauguration, said there would be room for criticism, as he promised to run an open door policy.
The inauguration held at the hardware laboratory, as constitutional authorities in the department were in attendance. The staff adviser, Mr Soji Adebesin, Immediate past HOD, Dr. Mrs Alaran Comrades, and recognized personnel in the department.
Speaking at the event, the immediate past president, Comrade Kujensi Oluwaseun, also known as Psalmist, in his welcoming speech, appreciated his fellow executive members for the great success of their administration, as he also commended the department for their cooperation and mentorship.

He therefore implored the newly elected executives to work as a team, saying “a victory to one is a victory to all.”
However, the newly elected president, while addressing the public, said, re- engineering the department mandate has not reached its final destination, stressing that the mission is underway in progress.
Also, the NACOS Head of Department, Mr Adebayo, Implored the fresh and returning students to be free in approaching any one in the department when challenges arises.
He said, “for the incoming executives, don’t forget your primary assignment as a student , and also none of you were forced to take the post so do not see it as a burden, I wish you’ll a successful tenure.”
