The Students Representative Council has lamented on the high increase of transport fare for the students of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, which the drivers has insisted on taking each student on #100.
On Tuesday morning, Press Club correspondent gathered that the new price adopted by the shuttle driver has no favour to the Students of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic.
The SRC, SUG, and other Comrades in school all make themselves available at the park to fight for the price they agreed with the shuttle drivers in the last meeting that was held.
It was also observed that Student Union held a meeting last week with the shuttle drivers on the price issue and they both agreed on #80.
The Shuttle drivers, however insisted on taking student with #100 and the Student Representatives Council also disagreed and make sure all students take the long bus (Macopolo) to school at #50 each.
The Students representative Council demands a proper agreement from the student who are willing to take the shuttle at the price of #100 and #150 for the cab.
He also added that “No shuttle should work till they all agree on the price given to them”.
