A Technical Personnel, Mr Adedeji Taiwo said that “there’s a crisis that doesn’t allow the students to enjoy 8 hours electricity like those people living in Oloke, Kolobo and Mercy road axis. There are some areas that used one megawatts while the school axis uses 4 megawatts, we also used the small power available to power the minimum area. Meanwhile the reason why Oloke axis used light than Ojere is because of their KV which is not high like Ojere axis and they often buy unit for them to have light.

“MAPOLY has been the most valuable customers that pay up to a million naira where ever there’s power supply but now when there’s no light they are paying #200,000.

Speaking further, “There’s a different feeders for each area and the load on the school axis feeders is huge but nevertheless we are planning to segment the light so that each area can enjoy the light. A day on and a day off will be the better solution for now” He added.

He however promised to put the students into consideration and proposed on segmenting the light for the enjoyment of the students.
