Association of Mass Communication Students (AMACOS) on Monday held her first semester prayer session at the Mass Communication lecture theatre.
Prayers in Christian and Islamic ways were said for the institution, department, student and lectures in the department.
The Christian prayer session was anchored by HND II students of the department, Daniel Babalola and Seun Raymond while the Islamic prayers were said by Kabir Jimoh and Gbenga and they recited verses of the holy Quran.
The clerics gave thanks to Almighty Allah about the success of the admission given to the fresh students.
One of them advised students to be patient and focused in their studies.
“Students must be patient and focused in whatever they do. They must be dedicated in all what they do.”
AMACOS president, Moses Ayodele announced that the polytechnic has joined the five days warning strike embarked upon by the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP).
