The Student Union Government of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic has debunked the rumor of lecture free day on 14 February.
In a statement issued on Monday, The Press Club Mapoly gathered that SUG has implored the student to debunked rumor that do not come through the right channel of information.
The statement read in part, “It has come to our attention that there have been rumors and speculations about a lecture-free day on February 14, 2023, however, we have not received any official information from the ASUP MAPOLY Chapter regarding this matter.
“We would like to remind the students that; ASUP MAPOLY Chapter is the direct source for information regarding academic activities and schedules.
The union, however advised the students to depend only on information that come from the official sources and they should also desisted from peddling unsubstantiated news or rumour.
“We assured the students that we will informed you as soon as we receive any official updates from the ASUP MAPOLY Chapter”.
