The immediate past president of the National Association of Ogun State Students, MAPOLY Chapter, Comr. Senator Olanose James has extended his appreciation to his executive, and the past directorate of student affairs for the great support of his tenure.

This information was gathered from a statement signed by Senator Olanose, on Wednesday.
The statement partly read, “My appreciation goes directly to all the distinguished stakeholders for their patriotism for the courage they have demonstrated in me, and for their effort in redesigning the image of this association in Moshood Abiola Polytechnic.
”A year down the line, we have continued to maintain the values of our manifestos, which are unity, entertainment, selflessness service, cultural values, and transparency.
“We have achieved notably in Ogun student’s welfare as this is the essence of indigenous association. It becomes relatively politic to state the historic contributions of this administration which cannot be downplayed to mention but a view”
He explained further, about the introduction of the first-ever online contests of NAOSS face of the week, which encompasses free lectures and more knowledge on the history and heritage of Ogun State.
“Notable social events such as the first-ever ponmo alata and pammy day in the history of the association, a historical Tour to Lagos Badagry. Opening of the first-ever NAOSS official bank account with United Bank for Africa, and also first ever NAOSS freshmen orientation program, talent shows, distribution of Ramadan packages to the Muslims Faithful during Ramadan which was sponsored from our pockets, some individuals, and a lot of different forms of rallies.
”Many others include, handling legal issues between NAOSS students and school securities, the police community, and amongst others. Issues between students and police, we were able to handle over 30 of these related cases.
”I will like to appreciate the immediate past Directorate of Students Affairs, Dr. Aninkan, who has been a father mentor, and leader, he has always ensured that our administration hasn’t tampered with and has continued to strengthen the association with his advice and tremendous support.”
