Directorate for Student Affairs of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Dr. Kolawole Amos, on Monday warned the students of the Institution not to dress indecently, claiming that it was out of the law of the institution.
This information was gathered during a sensitization program organized on campus, which began on Monday with the School of Communication and Information Technology and others.
The Director of Students Affairs disclosed that the measure will take effect on April 11, immediately after the Easter holiday.
Amos said any student either a returning or fresh student who does what is not legal will be suspended from the institution.
The DSA in his words advised all students to collect their student handbook from their school office to know the dos and don’ts of the institution.
He also enjoined all lecturers to work with him by sending out students with indecent dressing while the lecture is going on.
Students will be expel for indecent dressing – HOD
The Head of the Department of mass communication, Mr. Lekan Togunwa who was at the program added that any student caught in indecent dressing would be expelled or suspended for one or two semesters.
He also confirmed that the student had been expelled due to indecent dress or immortality act in the institution.
Students should abide by institution’s law- SUG President
The students’ union president in a statement signed by the union PRO, Bamidele William urged the students to adhere to the law of the institution, most especially regarding decent dressing.

He said that justice will be made for any student who violates the laid down rules and regulations given earlier by the DSA.
“We implore all students to maintain a good standard of the institutions in other to avoid embarrassment and be successful in their academics and social experience”.
