MAPOLY to Host Alake, Osile for Rotary Club Borehole Commissioning

The management of  Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY) announced Friday, 12th May, the commissioning of a borehole facility by the Rotary Club of Ikeja district 9110 to the institution.

In a statement, the head of Public Relations and Protocol, Yemi Ajibola, said that the commissioning of the project would hold on Friday, 12th May at the School of Environmental Studies and would be led by the rector of the institution, Dr. Adeoye Odedeji. 

 The commissioning of this project would be graced by notable personalities like Alake of Egbaland, Oba (Dr.) Michael Adedotun Gbadebo, the Osile of Oke-Ona Egba, and Oba Adedapo Tejuoso among other dignitaries.

Ajibola added that project was initiated in November 2022 when the President of the Ikeja Rotary Club, Rotarian Olusola Akinsiku led other Rotarians on a courtesy visit to the Rector, Dr. Adeoye Odedeji.

The statement partly read, “The Rotary Club of Ikeja District 9110 Nigeria will on Friday, 12th May,2023 commission and handover borehole facility to Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta.

“The borehole facility, which is a collaboration project of 10 Rotary Clubs in Abeokuta and Ikeja Lagos, was initiated in November 2022 when the President of Ikeja Rotary Club, Rotarian Olusola Akinsiku led other Rotarians on a courtesy visit to the Rector, Dr. Adeoye Odedeji.

“Imperial Majesties, the Alake of Egbaland, Oba (Dr.) Michael Adedotun Gbadebo and the Osile of Oke-Ona Egba, Oba Adedapo Tejuoso; the District Governor of Rotary Club, District 9110 are to be among the dignitaries to grace the commissioning.

 “Commissioning will hold at the School of Environmental Studies of the Polytechnic by 10:00 am. Staff and Students are expected to be seated by 9:30 am”.
