The Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun has promised to put in more effort in his second administration and also pledge to provide infrastructural facilities to the good citizen of the state.
The newly re-elected governor made this statement on his social media handle after he had been sworn in at M.K.O Abiola stadium by Hon. Justice Mosunmola Dipeolu.
He said his government had virtually-delivered all promises made during his previous dispensation, which he said included infrastructural development.
Abiodun stated that his vision concerning this sector was to give focused and qualitative governance and to create the enabling environment for a public-private partnership.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Abiodun boasted about his previous administration saying he completed different projects with over 400 km of constructed, reconstructed, and rehabilitated roads.
He said, ”Since we prioritized social welfare and well-being of our people we began a development agenda that encompasses health, housing, security, water supply, and woman empowerment and these have resulted in improved welfare of the good people of Ogun State”.
He stressed that his administration also worked on youth empowerment, stating that he provided platforms for them to achieve their potential.
