Examination Prepares You For The Town, By Oluwatoyin Gbadebo

Have you ever sat to look at the bright side of you taking an examination before considering examination malpractices as the only option to success?

Many students today now involve themselves in cheating as an excuse for failing which includes; inadequate preparation for exams, heavy workload, carelessness, regarding cheating as the only option, improper supervision during the examination, and teachers’ failure to prepare students amongst others.

All these excuses can be overcome only if you see examination as a technique to assess your knowledge, skills, or abilities as a student.

Examinations improve learning and enable people to take on new information. It helps to widen people’s horizons and make them outstanding.

If you do not pass the test on your own while you are still in the gown (Within the school walls) when you get to the town (The labor market) you would look back and regret your wasted years.

The world we are today does not just want an employee with the highest grade point, the labor markets are in search of creative thinkers, people who have something new to offer.

This is why going through an examination in a justifiable way would prepare you ahead as an individual who became a better reader, learner, and researcher.
