The Department of Building Technology, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic held its orientation programme, where fresh students were able to familiarise themselves with the department, the institution and its facilities.
The orientation programme which had in attendance academic and non academic staff of the department was held at the Building Technology Workshop.
According to the Head of department, Buldr. Olasunkanmi Faniyi, “the purpose of this gathering is for us to interact with one another and for students to have knowledge of how the department operates.”
The Polytechnic Counsellor, Dr. Rotimi Olukoya informed the students of the rules and regulations and enjoined them to adhere strictly by these rules.
Also, the process of registration was spelt, how students can calculate their grade point average and cumulative grade point average themselves and were urged to join the professional body.
