The Junior Chamber International, JCI, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, MAPOLY chapter has held its 39th convention and 40th investiture, where it inaugurated Adekunle Daniel as its new president.
The event, which held at the institution’s Babalakin Hall on Saturday, had in attendance; the CEO of Pelican Valley, Amb. (Dr.) Babatunde Adeyemo, Barr Habeeb White, JCI MAPOLY 2019 President, Joseph Onoha, among other personalities.
Dwelling on the theme, “Exploring the Digital Job Market Techniques For Enhancing Employability,” the real estate entrepreneur citing himself as an example, said though he operates his business in Ogun State, Southwest Nigeria, a larger percentage of his clients are Nigerians in diaspora.
Adeyemo who is an ECOWAS Youth Ambassador as well as an Ambassador of anti-corruption organisation in the country, also harped on the importance of laying a solid foundation and being consistent in every business journey to ensure success.
He therefore urged them to stand firm in whatever they do, affirming that once they do it well, they will get to the top and rule the world.
During the program, awards were presented to dignitaries that were present, including Dr. Adeyemo.
Appreciating those who honoured the event, the newly elected president, Daniel expressed his heartfelt appreciation, assuring he won’t fail them.
He also thanked his parents and friends for their support for making him attain his current position.
He therefore pledged to serve with integrity, adding that he will work on the members behalf.
