The Director of Students’ Affairs in Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, MAPOLY, Dr Amos Kolawole, is set to have a meeting with the Students’ Representative Council aspirants.
The meeting, which was scheduled to hold today, will commence at exactly 12pm, according to a statement issued by the institution’s Students Electoral Committee, SUELECO on Sunday.
Although the purpose of the meeting wasn’t stated, the committee stressed that it was committed to restore the election channels promptly.
The statement partly reads, “We would like to bring to your attention that the DSA in person of DR. AMOS called for a meeting with all SRC aspirants tomorrow 6 of May 12pm prompt. It is important that you all grace the meeting
“We understand the significance of this electoral process, and as such, we are actively working to restore the election channels promptly. Our goal is to create a safe and credible environment for all candidates, fostering a fair and democratic election process.”
It therefore called for the students’ cooperation, stressing that it would ensure transparency and integrity during the election.
