UPDATE: MAPOLY Announces Classes Begin June 3, Exam June 19

The management of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, MAPOLY, Abeokuta, has reversed its decision on the academic calendar, announcing that classes will commence on June 3, 2024, with the first semester examination scheduled to begin on June 19, 2024.

According to a statement by the Institution’s Public Relations Officer, Yemi Ajibola, the decision was made during an emergency Academic Board meeting aimed at revising the academic calendar for the 2023/2024 session.

The authorities have therefore approved Wednesday, June 19, 2024, as the start date for the first semester examinations, applicable to all categories of students.

The statement read,”Authorities of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta have approved Wednesday, 19th June, 2024 as the commencement date for the 2023/2024 first semester examination for all categories of students.

“This was approved at the emergency Academic Board meeting recently held to revise the academic calendar.”

In the same vein, the management stressed that lectures, revisions and registration would continue till Saturday, 15th June, 2024.

The Board further emphasized that only students who have duly registered will be permitted to participate in the upcoming examinations.

Therefore, the Rector and Board Chairman, Dr. Adeoye Odedeji, extended his best wishes to the students, encouraging them to utilize the remaining period for thorough preparation to ensure successful performance in the exams.
