The Muslim students’ society of Nigeria, [MSSN], MAPOLY Chapter has inaugurated new executives for its 2017/2018 administration.
The Inauguration which took place at the school Mosque, immediately after Jumat Service was coordinated by the Amir of Egba Area Council of MSSN, Amir Hakeem Agboola.
A member of the Shura committee set up by MSSN to screen the nominated members, Mr. Daud Olatunji revealed that the new executives was selected based on the recommendation made by the Shura committee after the screening exercise.
He further revealed that, it took the committee four days to scrutinize the 50 nominated members, saying that the committee did a tough deliberation to select over 20 new executives for different position in the association.
Olatunji however said an HND1 Computer Student identified as Tohir Moshood emerged the new Amir of the Muslim students in MAPOLY, while Hamzat Azeezah, an HND1 math/stat student was the new Ameerah.
While taking oath of office to the new executives, the Amir of Egba Area Council, Hakeem Agboola charged the new executive to work on the weaknesses of the Outgoing executives.
Agboola also advised them to be upright and accountable to MSSN, stressing that they must maintain unity among its member.
