Updated: MAPOLY SUG Provides Bus Service for Students Living in Olorunsogo, Alagada Communities

The Student Union of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY) has provided buses to alleviate transportation challenges for students residing along Olorunsogo and Alagada axes.

This announcement was made through a brief provided to the Press Club MAPOLY by the union following the commencement of the bus service on September 11, 2024.

According to the SUG President, Prosper Oladele Idowu (Chemical), the union has initiated this service to ease the mobilization and transportation challenges faced by students living in these areas.

He said: “We are aware of the challenges Moshood Abiola Polytechnic students face regarding mobilization and transportation. Today, my team, the Baale of Olorunsogo, and the Chairman of the institution’s shuttle service have come together to inaugurate a new bus stop at the first and second junctions of Olorunsogo.”

He further explained that the shuttle will operate from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m in the morning every day and The commencement of the new bus stop’s operation that will start on Thursday, 12th September 2024.

“The buses will be available here from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., so every student from Olorunsogo to Alagada can board the buses at the junction to get to school.”
