… Expose corruption — New president, Lateef Gbadamosi, charges students
The Press Club Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, PCM, today inaugurated its newly elected executive members during its handing over ceremony, with Lateef Gbadamosi emerging as the new President.
The handing over ceremony, which held at the Old Mass Communication Building, was honored by the chief editor of Platform Times Newspaper, Daud Olatunji, and a former president of the prestigious club, Hammed Shuaib.
The event witnessed a seamless transition of leadership, with the outgoing executives, led by Micheal Adenrele, handing over the reins to their successors led by Gbadamosi to advance the club’s legacy of excellence in campus journalism and student advocacy.

P.R.O: Kemahoun Isaac HND II
Welfare: Bashiru Yetunde HND II
Membership Director: Razak Fatoki HNDII
In his inaugural address, Gbadamosi charged students to take an active role in exposing corruption in every level and department of the institution. He emphasized the importance of a corruption-free environment in promoting academic excellence and integrity.
“We, as students, have a responsibility to ensure that our institution is run transparently and accountably,” Gbadamosi said. “I urge you all to be vigilant and report any cases of corruption or malpractice to the appropriate authorities.”
The new President also pledged to work closely with the student body, faculty, and administration to promote a culture of transparency and accountability.
In the same vein, he added that his administration is committed to fostering collaboration , transparency inclusivity.
“I thank Almighty God for making this day a possible one. I appreciate everyone present here today from the Editor-in-chief, Platform Times Newspaper Mr Daud Olatunji, Ex-PCM President, Mr. Shuayb Akinyemi and the students populace of Moshood Abiola. PCM is dedicated to amplifying students voices through credible reporting. I urge everyone to support my administration as it’s a collective work,” he said
Daud, in his remarks, said “You have to be objective in your reporting in other to achieve your goal. Be transparent, work with your team and ensure you do your work judiciously.”
Kemahoun Isaac, the newly elected PRO gave the vote of thanks to end the ceremony.
