Amidst risen tension of school fees payment deadline, students of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, MAPOLY, among others have lamented the difficulty in accessing the institution’s payment portal.
As gathered, the payment portal has been inaccessible for some days as some students lamented not being able to pay their acceptance fees, talk less of school fees.
Recall that earlier this week, the institution’s Public Relations Officer, PRO, Yemi Ajibola, released a statement on the management’s decision to penalize students who pay their school fees late.
Setting the deadline as March 15, students have lamented wasted efforts in trying to pay their school fees.
The technical issue on the payment’s portal has left many students struggling to pay their fees ahead of the looming deadline.
The problem, which occurs when attempting to access the payment interface, has resulted in the website becoming unresponsive.

Speaking with the PRO, he explained that the management is aware of the challenges associated with the website, particularly with regards to payments.
However, the PRO emphasized that the issue lies with the payment service provider, not the school management.
When asked about the deadline for payment, which is scheduled for this Saturday 15th March, 2025, he advised students to “hold on” until Monday.
“For now, just leave it,” the PRO stated, indicating that discussions with the members of the academic board will hold on Monday.
Crucially, the PRO confirmed that there would be no penalty for late payments until Monday. When asked to clarify, the PRO stated, “As it is today till Monday, there is no penalty.”
He therefore advised students to wait until Monday till further information is being disseminated.
