Six injure, as MAPOLY CSO allegedly knocks down students

About six students of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic were reported to have been injured after they were allegedly knocked down by the Chief Security Officer of the institution, Adekunle Adekoya.
PRESS CLUB MAPOLY gathered that, Adekoya allegedly knocked down students when he was trying to escape with the Acting Rector, Mr. Ayodeji Tella around Iyana-Oloke.
Findings revealed that, the students who paid a solidarity visit to MAPOLY campus to demand reasons the management fail to hold their examination, insisted the Rector follow them to Governor’s office in Oke-Mosan to face the government.
The Rector was reported to have escaped in the Chief Security Officer’s Hilux van on their way to the governor’s office.
It was observed that the attitude of the CSO sparked off violent protest by the students.
The students who later converged at Panseke ordered the closure of shops in the axis and also blocked roads and burnt tyres, restricting movement .
It would be recalled that the students on Monday had vowed to hold people in Abeokuta metropolis to ransom until the Governor meets with their demands
