To offer reprieve to students who missed earlier registration deadlines, the management of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic Centre for Entrepreneurship Development, MAPCED has announced a final opportunity for biometric data capturing and course registration.
The portal has been reopened and will remain accessible until 6:00 PM on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 as disclosed by the Director of Academic Planning, Dr Layiwola Sojobi in a statement released earlier Today.
According to Dr Sojobi, this decision, approved by the institution’s Rector, is aimed at accommodating all categories of students, including extra year and carryover students, who were unable to complete their registration processes or participate in the recent Computer-Based Examinations, CBE.
The Director of Academic Planning therefore stressed that the extension is a final window to ensure no eligible student is left behind due to registration lapses.
“This is a one-time opportunity for all affected students to regularize their academic status,” the notice reads. “No further extensions or pleas will be entertained after the deadline.”
Exam Rescheduling for Affected Courses
Students who were scheduled to sit for EED 413, EED 216, and GNS 201 on May 20 and 21 but missed out due to incomplete registration will now write their examinations on Friday, May 23, 2025, provided they complete the necessary biometric and course registration process before the new deadline.
Additionally, extra year and carryover students are also expected to participate in the rescheduled exams on the same date after completing their registration.
Urgent Call for Awareness
All concerned students are therefore urged to act swiftly to avoid academic setbacks as the administration also called on student leaders and peers to help disseminate this vital information, particularly via WhatsApp groups and other student communication channels.
The school emphasized that the portal will be shut down completely at the stipulated time, with no further accommodations or appeals.
