Rotaract Club of MAPOLY Donates 50 Bags of Water to Agbadu Community

The Rotaract club of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY) donated more than 50 bags of water to Agbadu Community located at Ojere, Abeokuta.

On Monday, the project was embarked on by the Ractoractors, who are students of the Institutio, to mark their impact to their community.

According to Taiwo Adeyemo, the club’s president, the community lack quality water for both drinking and processing of residents’ foods, stressing that the students, through their community service, donated the water to help the community and mark love for the society at large.

He further said that the student, as future leaders, are doing this to train themselves ahead of the future.

Speaking with the community inhabitants who wished to be anonymous due to the absence of the village head, they explained that the community lack water, light and other amenities which they have been lagging due to some issues in the community.

Explaining that the community only access water through their spring, they sought for support from the government and individuals to help them.
