The Students’ Union Electoral Committee, SUELECO of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, Today, announced the commencement of the Students’ Representative Council, SRC election.
According to a statement signed by the committee and released on campus, the election commenced at 10:00 a.m. and will close by 2:00 p.m., giving students a four-hour window to cast their votes.
SUELECO noted that the elections would be conducted strictly online, urging all eligible students to participate by logging into the official union portal.
“All students are expected to participate actively by logging into the student union portal and casting their votes. This is a collective process, and we encourage every student to exercise their right to choose their representatives,” the committee stated.
To vote, students are required to visit (http://mapolysasug.com.ng), log in with their student credentials, navigate to the voting system, select the SRC Elections option, and submit their votes.
The electoral body emphasized that the election was approved by the academic board, reaffirming the administration’s commitment to ensuring a transparent and democratic student leadership process.
SUELECO also made available two helplines for inquiries or technical issues during the election process: +2349153495345 and +2349055231882.
The outcome of today’s election will determine the new crop of representatives who will champion students’ interests within the institution for the new academic year.
