JCI MAPOLY launches ‘ Let’s do it Campaign ‘ Calls for clean environment

In a bid to ensure an healthy and waste free environment in Nigeria, on her part, The Junior Chambers International (JCI), Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY) chapter has launched the ‘Let’s do it Campaign" project at the state capital, Abeokuta.

The ‘Let’s do it Campaign’ project is an initiative embarked on by the JCI International with aims of evacuating plastic bottles and wastes in the environment .

Speaking at the JCI MAPOLY general assembly, JCI National director of Let’s do it campaign,
Ambassador Gafar Olorunleke claimed that the campaign objectives is to have a clean and waste free environment.

According to him, JCI International is set to have the biggest civic recycling in 2018 which will witness over 150 countries including Nigeria as they will unite efforts to have a world clean up day on September 15".

Commenting on the campaign significance to MAPOLY community, JCI MAPOLY chapter President, Miss Olabisi Olajumoke stated that project will ensure a clean institution and its environs by orientating students against littering and waste management .

Olajumoke also added that the campaign will begin online especially on twitter where prominent individuals will be aware of the campaign for support.
