The Students’ Representative Council (SRC) of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), has formally cleared the Student Union President, Comr. Sen. Temitope Afolabi of all allegations earlier raised against his office.
This resolution followed a legislative sitting of the Council held on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, during which the Student Union President appeared before the House to respond to the allegations.
The session was conducted in line with the SRC’s constitutional provisions and legislative procedures.
According to the Council, Comr. Afolabi was granted full opportunity to defend himself and offer clarifications on all issues presented.
Furthermore the members of the House engaged in extensive deliberations after the explanations were provided.
After careful review and consideration, the SRC unanimously resolved that the explanations offered by the Student Union President were satisfactory.
Consequently, the Council declared that all allegations had been fully resolved, settled, and cleared, with no further issues pending against his administration.
In a statement signed by the Speaker of the Council, Rt. Hon. Ademolu Toheeb Olawale, the SRC reaffirmed its confidence in the leadership of Comr. Sen. Afolabi Temitope, expressing belief in his capacity to continue discharging his constitutional responsibilities effectively.
The Council further reiterated its commitment to transparency, accountability, fairness, and democratic principles in the management of student affairs.
