Last two weeks, MAPOLY Students pleaded with the management to extend the school fee deadline. Several reasons including economic factor, short time for payment, delay in result processing, payment of other bills among others topped the very much reasons the students clamored for a postponement.
Fortunately, the school management granted a two-week shift, March 26, 2018 (Today), before its adds a penalty fee portal of N10,000 and N15,000 in subsequent weeks respectively.
Press Club MAPOLY would wish to draw the attention of the school management, thereby appealing for a reduction in the aforementioned additional penalty fee.
In time past, after the closure of the school’s payment portal, an additional N5,000 is added before its gradual increment to N10,000 and N15,000 in subsequent weeks.
Press Club survey revealed that about 30% of students admitted for this session are yet to make their school fee payment even after the extension. These set of students are as well going to be faced with a penalty fee of N10,000 among other bills to pay.
We hereby appeal to the school management to grant a reduction in the additional penalty fee. Like old times, the penalty fee should start from N5,000 and increase in subsequent weeks.
