… Says students must project the school image

The Public Relations Officer of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Mr. Yemi Ajibola has disclosed that the long awaiting MAPOLY radio would be aired in a month time.
Ajibola, who spoke with PRESS CLUB MAPOLY in his office, assured that the polytechnic is doing everything to make sure the Radio begin operation by June.
According to him, The Acting rector attention has been drawn to the delay of MAPOLY radio not going on air after the transmission license has been granted to the school over a year.
He said, "The acting rector has ordered that I work closely with the director of school of communication and information technology on how the radio will be aired anytime soon.
He further revealed that the acting rector has now called for the total estimation cost from the concerned quarters that will be needed for the project to be executed.
For the operation of the radio, Ajibola said the school does not need a big transmitter or gigantic building before MAPOLY radio can be aired, adding that they only need necessary equipment as they were only given Community radio license.
He however called on the students to project the institution image positively especially on their social media platforms.
According to him, what students post on Facebook, Instagram, among others about the school determines how sellable and credible the school certificate would be.
"We must protect the sanctity of that name; Moshood Abiola Polytechnic and by extension protect our certificate" he said.
