…reiterates commitment to solve transportation problem
In an effort to end transportation problem in Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, the Students’ Union body of the institution under the leadership of Comrade AbdulRasaq Owoiya, has begun necessary steps to end transportation problem facing students.
The president who spoke through his media aide said, the Students’ Union body had met with appropriate quarters to make sure transportation problem at the institution becomes a history.
He said, the union had met with the three chairmen of Shuttle drivers, Green Taxi drivers and Cab drivers, adding that, they gave favorable suggestions and cooperation to the union.
According to him “Henceforth, from Monday, June 4, 2018 there will be no rushing for shuttle or Cab at Panseke.
“Students will maintain an orderly queue at skating ground where shuttle and cabs will be available in multiples.
“Iyana Oluwo, Iyana Olokemeji and other areas where our students reside will be monitored perfectly to make sure, means of transporting them to school are available.
“We have set up a committee to ease transportation problem for our students because that has been our major problem and this administration will frown at any driver that fails to comply with the students’ union body.
“We urge all students to also cooperate with the union to bring transportation problem to end. Any student found jumping through vehicle window will face the disciplinary committee of the management” he said.
However, the union president urged all students to remain focus in their academic career, saying education and good manners are the best legacy any individual can purchase.
