Students of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic are currently in a joyous mood, as the management of the institution has reportedly postponed the first semester examination of the Higher National Diploma initially scheduled to begin on Monday June 25, 2018.
The postponement which was announced by the President, Association of Mass Communication Students (AMACOS), Khaf Olanrewaju in the HND 2 and HND1 classes of the department triggered jubilation from all quarters of the lecture room.
Press Club MAPOLY gathered that the jubilation was as a result of unpreparedness of the students for the forthcoming examination.
Although there had been speculation and doubt concerning the possibility of starting the exam as scheduled.
Press Club MAPOLY also gathered that the reason for the postponement of the examination was due to issues relating to registration.
Olanrewaju disclosed that academic activities would continue until the management fixes another date for the examination.
Speaking on the development, the Public Relations executive, Muhammad Abiola however urged the students to continue to study hard and complete their registration in time.
Abiola added that the students should visit the school linkages for the collection of their signed and stamp receipts as criteria for examination card collection.
Meanwhile, the PRE disclosed the plan of AMACOS in organizing a special tutorial for the students of mass communication department.
